Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is an option to change high schools for students who live in the attendance area of Fullerton Joint Union High School District schools (i.e. Buena Park, Fullerton Union, La Habra, Sonora, Sunny Hills, or Troy High Schools).
Dates: Monday, January 5 – Friday, January 23

Process: Form must be filled out and turned in to the student’s home school (the attendance area of residence) by 3pm Friday, January 23, 2009. To attend the new school next fall, the student must be enrolled at the Open Enrollment school by Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

Please Note: Open Enrollment does not mean open access to Sonora High School programs. Acceptance to a specific program is not guaranteed by the Open Enrollment process. Please check with the desired program for the specific requirements. For example, students interested in the International Baccalaureate program (IB) must qualify with placement tests. IB testing must be done at Sonora High School to qualify, results from IB placement tests taken at another high school are not considered.
